Hello, I’m from Sweden. The bike is a Honda CBX1000 1979. The first owner rode it 980km before he smashed into a reindeer, in the late 1980s. The bike was put away in a cold shed after that. With temperatures down to –40ºC, up in Lapland where the bike was stored, the bike was in a bad shape.

I bought it last summer, restored it this winter and started it up in June this summer for the first time in nearly 30 years. Here are a few pics, before, during and after restoration. As a subscriber, I really like your great magazine.
