The event promises an action-packed long weekend of fun (you can turn up on Friday at 5pm) with a host of big names as well as on-track action. Attendees include World Supersport champ Sam Lowes, MotoGP rookie Scott Redding, the venerable Sammy Miller with a host of classic machinery, and TT stars past and present such as Jim Redman, John McGuinness, Nick Jefferies and many more!
In addition, look to the skies on Sunday as a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Supermarine Spitfire gives a display.

There will also be more than 100 trade stands, a children’s funfair and even a fine-food area – try finding one of those at a normal bike event!
World Champ Sam Lowes said: “Sammy Miller is bringing some unbelievable bikes from his museum and I hope that Sam will let me have a sit on some of them. It’s going to be a real privilege for me to share the same paddock as these legends.
“I will also be having a play about on the track riding a Yamaha R6 provided by CMC in Chesterfield, which will be tricked up to look like my Moto2 bike. How good is that?” Thundersprint organiser Frank Melling said: “This is the most star-studded entry we have had in 17 Thundersprints, and even if we didn’t own the event it would be the one we couldn’t miss!”
