Our friends at the National Motorcycle Museum will host their next LIVE event on Saturday, November 4. This means that you can get in to the museum for free – and you really should pop along – it’s a great day out. There’s a full timetable of events on during the day as well as a host of stars who will be in attendance and an indoor autojumble and trade area. One of the most popular segments of the day is ‘meet the experts’ where the people behind the museum’s restorations are able to offer advice. Our own Steve Parrish will be hosting the live segments and introducing legends such as Freddie Spencer, Carl Fogarty, John ‘Moon-Eyes’ Cooper as well as Peter Williams, Michael Rutter and youngster Peter Hickman.
Best of all you’ll also be on hand for the ‘start-up’ section of the day where race and road bikes old and new will be fired into life. And don’t forget you can still enter the summer raffle. The draw will take place on the 4th, but if you’ve entered then you could be the lucky winner of the 1960 BSA Gold Star worth more than £20,000! If you fancy your chances, then tickets are available from www.thenmm.co.uk or by calling 01675 444123.
