Lotus to make 200bhp superbike

The C-01 will utilise Formula One car technology and construction methods, and be made from materials such as aerospace quality steel, carbon and titanium.

On the design front, Daniel Simon is responsible for the Tron lightcycle and has also worked for Lamborghini and Bugatti, as well as designing the black and gold colour scheme of Lotus’ LMP2 cars. Racing team Kodewa has plenty of experience, having competed in F1 and endurance racing. The bike’s components will be made by the Holzer Group’s state of the art CNC machines.

Lotus will release proper images of the C-01 shortly.
