Doing the dirty!

Lots of stands for would-be mucky pups

This is the largest dedicated off-road motorcycle show in Europe and the only one in the UK and it has everything from classic to modern and you don’t even need to be a full-on mud-plugger to enjoy the show.

At the show you’ll experience extensive displays of motocross, enduro, trail and trials bikes, you’ll see the best and latest riding gear and kit, parts and accessories.

The great thing about dirt riding is that the whole family can get involved and on display will be a range of machines and kit perfect for kids from as young as two years of age.

Nearly all of the big manufacturers offer smaller machines for children and with the explosion of small electric off-road bikes coming on to the scene the Dirt Bike Show will have plenty for the youngsters to see and do, as well as a variety of machines for the kids to try out.

Free-of-charge family activities include a live arena schedule with the likes of Steve Colley and his trials stunt experience, Flat track racing demos with heats and finals courtesy of the legendary Pete Boast, as well as Danny Butler and his Extreme Mountain Bike crew. These boys are amazing, doing some plainly daft stuff and stunts and all with just pedal power!

If you do take your older kids and you want to indoctrinate them into the world of motorcycling then the ‘Get On’ team will be happy to give your over-16 child a lesson on a geared motorcycle in Hall 5.
