Beckham’s Brazilian Bonneville arrives at the NMM!

Part Bonneville, part scrambler, part desert-sled this aggressive black jungle special is another chapter in the story of one of history’s most versatile motorcycles…

Built for David Beckham for his adventure deep into the Amazon jungle this Triumph Bonneville is the very bike featured in Beckham’s BBC documentary and was uniquely suited to the purpose. With a scrambler-esque profile, chunky off-road tyres, a high-level performance Arrow exhaust and no front or rear mudguards to speak of, the Bonneville T100 base bike evolved into a true one-off.
See Beckham’s brilliant mud splattered machine at the NMM, on display in Hall 1 until February 2015. The Museum’s a treasure and is packed with classics from all eras and makes a great day out.

The Solihull-based Museum is open every day 8.30am-5.30pm over the Christmas period except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day.
