Daniel says: A reader asked about the noise from the cylinder head on his rebuilt Honda CB72. I think that the problem is with the rocker spindles as they are different sizes from one side to the other. You have to size them which is very difficult because they look almost identical, it is a quirk of Honda engineering and the 72 has a number. The very small amount of difference in size is enough to give the symptoms he speaks of as any long term 72 owner will tell you.
