I had the same problem with my T500 and it turned out to be the feed pipe from tank to oil pump, the banjo union which threaded to the pipe and glued had come loose allowing air to be drawn in the system, I swapped it for another that I had and so far this has seemed to cure the problem. A tip for bleeding the system, I removed the pump from the engine but left the oil lines connected and put a flat headed screwdriver bit in a drill which is inserted into the slot for the rev counter cable, hold the actuator lever to fully open and give some beans with the drill.
