John Kettlewell: “I bought this Honda NS400R when it was six months old: it was on the D plate. I borrowed £2200 from Barclays to buy it. Fuel consumption was steep, handling was sharp. After two years I stupidly swapped it for a MG Metro Turbo. I’d love another one, but prices are getting too high for me, so I’m restoring a Kawasaki GPz750R1 instead.”
