Show Us Yours: Tim’s 1979 Honda CBX 1000Z

Tim from Churchdown, Gloucestershire has recently converted to CMM and sent us this photograph of his pride and joy. Tim has a 1979 Honda CBX1000Z in Candy Glory Red.

It has been fitted with aftermarket Marvic wheels, a braced aluminium swinging arm, Superbrace fork brace, Rickman engine bars, Power Flow stainless steel exhausts and ‘upgraded’ four-pot calipers at the front – all sensible mods that enhance the looks and improve handling no end.

“I had one of these 22 or 23 years ago, and always regretted selling it,” said Tim, “I bought this one early in 2007, and they’ll have to prise it from my cold dead hands!”
