NC30 not RC30?

Let me start by congratulating you on an excellent mag. I really enjoyed the awesome feature in June’s issue on two bikes I used to lust after most as a young biker – the RC30 and OW01.

NC30 not RC30?

I was recently discussing with friends how much the RC30 was when it came out, saying no one would buy a bike for £10,000, but look at the cost of bikes now.

While I’m at it, I hope you can settle a little bet I’ve got going with a friend of mine? On page 49 you have a picture of someone going for it on an RC30 saying how slim it looks. I’m pretty sure he’s actually on an NC30, but my mate disagrees. The main giveaway is the smaller headlights. I hope I’m right otherwise I’ve just cost myself a beer.

Keep up the good work.

Get the round in, Mark. I’m sorry to say you’ve lost your bet – it’s an RC30 but a Japanese market machine, which came with small headlights. We had two RC30s in for the test – one standard Japanese market machine and a UK market machine. Glad you're enjoying the magazine. Ben, CMM
