In a fitting tribute to Rod riders, and his readers from his days as editor of Classic Mechanics magazine, travelled from as far afield as Norwich, Stoke on Trent and Derby to take part. The two charities which will benefit from the ride are National Youthbike and the National Association for Bikers with Disabilities, both of which Rod supported.
