Classic Kiddimotos
By: Web Editor
Get ’em into bikes while they’re young, we at CMM say, so if you have small children or grandchildren (who are just that bit too young to try a push-bike) try them on these first.
Kiddimotos are made of wood, they’ve won awards and they help develop balance and are aimed at two to six-year-olds. Some parents report that when they are older, Kiddimoto ‘graduates’ can hop directly onto to a push-iron without the need for stabilisers.
Shrewdly Kiddimoto has developed a range of styles which appeal to parents and grandparents as well as kids and these two are perfect for CMM readers to set up the next generation of bikers. One is in the NCR Ducati scheme used by Mike Hailwood during his legendary Isle of Man TT comeback in 1978, while another legend is remembered in the Joey Dunlop Kiddimoto, which is in the colours of his last TT-winning bike, the Honda SP-1.
