Can't you tell your bikes

In May’s issue of CMM, Simon Duncan wrote about Police motorcycles in Mexico back in early 1990.
He said:
“…an impressive row of GPZ900R Ninjas…”, but there was not one GPZ900R in the photo he was describing. My guess is that the bikes are actually GPX600Rs or maybe, but not likely, GPZ600Rs. Just for Simon, I’ve sent you a picture of my GPz900R to help him tell the difference.
I’ve owned this 1986 example for many years and have clocked up a whopping 54,932 miles on it.
