Bike blog
By: Web Editor
I had previously been speaking with Rod Gibson (RIP) – way back in the May 2009 issue you published some info about my bike (the GSX-R special) that was stolen and destroyed.
Fast forward a couple of issues to July 2009 and there was a small piece in the readers’ letters (page 28) of how I started to rebuild another special.
So, I was just writing really to say that, sadly, that bike was sold on before I had a chance to finish it, but with intentions of one day rebuilding a better, faster, stronger GSX-R to replace the one I had lost.
I am now building that said bike and have decided to log my progress in a blog, which can be viewed at suzukigsx-ryoshimuratt-f1.blogspot.com/ with plenty of pictures and information as the build progresses. It would be great to get some response on it from any interested parties.
Keep up the brilliant work and great reads.
