Brighton Rocks
16 May 2012
Great to read Pip Higham’s experience of his record-setting outing at Brighton Speed Trials almost all of 30 years ago. With many thousands of others, I was there and saw the run – it was spectacular. Pip was more than two seconds quicker than any of the others and we wondered what he would do on his second run.
Z1100B1 High Carb Diet
16 May 2012.
Greetings from down under! I really enjoy your magazine, my kind of bikes.
Nice Diversion
18 April 2012.
Well, I don’t think your reporter did his homework on the 900 Diversion – I’ve never found a Divi with an alloy swingarm, yet that is one of the main problems with a great bike, and that’s rust in that area.
The Woolworths Flyer
18 April 2012.
I am trying to trace an unusual motorcycle my father (Gerard ‘Jerry’ Maguire) helped design and commission while he was working as a new project specialist and buyer at Woolworths in the Seventies.
Bargain hunt
21 March 2012.
I really must agree with Steve Cooper (Jan 2012 issue) about there being some real bargains to be had in the 25-year-old sports 600 range. I had been half looking for another FZR600 like I had a few years ago.
Ringer’s solution
21 March 2012.
Please could you pass on my thanks to Mark Haycock, who answered my tyre size and smoking engine queries regarding my Honda CB250RS, in your January 2012 issue.
Star letter: Thanks for the memories
18 January 2012.
Your articles in the November 2011 edition about Mr Rainey, his very cool VFR and that history-making day at Brands in 1987 made me dig out my photo album to remind me of my own memories on that sunny Good Friday.
Bike blog
18 January 2012.
I had previously been speaking with Rod Gibson (RIP) – way back in the May 2009 issue you published some info about my bike (the GSX-R special) that was stolen and destroyed.
At all costs
21 December 2011.
I thought I would drop you a line to add my tuppence worth to the recent letter on why we spend far more on restoration than the final product is usually worth.
Colour change
21 December 2011.
Hi to all you lovely people at CMM – you will probably dismiss this as trivial trash but could you please stop printing parts of your Q+A page in black on brown, as it is difficult to read with my gammy eyes!
