Great to read Pip Higham’s experience of his record-setting outing at Brighton Speed Trials almost all of 30 years ago. With many thousands of others, I was there and saw the run – it was spectacular. Pip was more than two seconds quicker than any of the others and we wondered what he would do on his second run.

Nice Diversion

Well, I don’t think your reporter did his homework on the 900 Diversion – I’ve never found a Divi with an alloy swingarm, yet that is one of the main problems with a great bike, and that’s rust in that area.
