TOP TIP: Use a good quality dial indicator gauge to set where the ignition points begin to open. After this is adjusted then set your points gap. TOP TIP: It is absolutely essential to lubricate threads when using stainless steel nuts and bolts as dry contact may cause them to bind up. Use a light dab of waterproof, good quality grease such as Silkolene RG2 on the threads prior to assembly.
